Dear Students,
In accordance with the Senate decision outlined below, you may request to take overlapping courses by submitting a written request.
Students who wish to request the addition of a course in accordance with this decision must submit their requests to the Department Secretary’s Office.
Requests must be submitted only on the specified date and in the specified manner. Otherwise, you must make your course selections in accordance with the academic calendar.
The following principles apply to overlapping courses, depending on whether they have been taken previously:
- If two practical courses conflict, these courses cannot be taken simultaneously, regardless of whether they have been taken previously.
- If one course is a practical course and the other is a theoretical course, these courses may be taken together provided that the theoretical course has been taken previously and a passing grade (other than F0) was earned.
- If two theoretical courses conflict, they may be taken provided that at least one of them has a passing grade other than F0.
(This provision was added by Senate Resolution No. 12-03 dated December 19, 2023.)
